Villa Akkaya (formerly known as Villa Jocri) commands one of the best locations in Kalkan. With a distinctive design – a rounded façade and glass-walled central atrium - its elevated position provides a welcome cooling breeze and superb views over the southwest side of Kalkan. Whether you’re inside or outside there’s an uninterrupted 240^o panorama over olive groves and distant rooftops towards the clear blue waters of Kalkan bay to the left and Kalamar bay to the right. The villa is an ideal holiday home for families or an idyllic retreat for couples wanting to get away from it all and relax.

Located at the end of a road that stops at the villa, Villa Akkaya sleeps six, is privately owned with its own pool, a secluded patio and is within easy reach of Kalkan, a village on the South West Mediterranean coast, fast becoming known as the ‘St Tropez’ of Turkey. Kalkan - near Antalya - was an old fishing village and is ideally situated for exploring Turkey's heritage sites such as Xanthos, Pinara and Tlos. Although the village is now a lively resort it hasn’t lost its charm or been spoilt by commercial businesses. The cobbled streets are full of craft and other interesting shops but when you’re all shopped out, fine dining in one of the many rooftop terrace restaurants is hard to beat as one of the evening attractions. And there are lots of other ways to while away the time including drinking local wines at one of the many bars or dining in one of the places serving high quality Turkish food where the locals eat.

Please note that because of its elevated position and spiral staircase Villa Akkaya is not ideal for children under five, or the infirm.
